Jay Martin has been in the Shoals Area for most of his life.  He has worked in the family business, Herald Printing Company, since he was in the 5th grade.  When personal computers were first becoming available to home users he became interested and started learning how to use them.  He studied computer science at the University of North Alabama, but really gained most of his knowledge through experience.  After working through many challenges at "The Herald" he began to acquire a reputation for working on computers.  Over the last several years he has helped a wide range of clients in the Shoals.

Ryan Alleva moved Alabama in 2005 and has been with the company since 2006.  He has a wife and two daughters.  He lived and worked previously in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and worked for an ISP/Computer Repair company for 7 years where he gained extensive experience in networking and virus/computer repair. He has experience with wireless networking including special large area coverage.  He specializes now in Server and Network Management.  He and his family spend any spare time that they can muster up in their preaching activity.

Tyler Martin is Jay's son.  He graduated from the University of North Alabama and received Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems in May '07. While attending UNA he worked at the Herald running the bulk mailing computers and providing a virus repair service to the public.  He has gained a significant knowledge of virus/spyware removal as well as prevention of infection.

Herald Printing and Technology is located on Pine Street across from the Trinity Episcopal Church and directly behind Freds Dollar store on Court St.  The Herald has been in existence since 1884 and has been in the Martin family since about 1920.  For more information see its website at
